Terms of Service

The service

SpeedFast provides a free internet speed measurement tool, showing download speed, upload speed, ping, and jitter, along with optional shareable result links and a locally stored history of your own past tests. No account or payment is required to use it.

Accuracy of results

We build SpeedFast to measure as accurately as our methodology allows (see How It Works), but a speed test result is an estimate of your connection's performance at one specific moment, not a guarantee or a certified measurement. Actual real-world performance depends on factors entirely outside our control, including your ISP, home network, Wi-Fi conditions, and other devices sharing your connection.

Acceptable use

When using SpeedFast, you agree not to:

• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or degrade the service for other users, including automated denial-of-service style traffic.
• Use automated scripts or bots to run tests at a volume clearly beyond normal individual use.
• Attempt to circumvent any rate limiting, security measure, or access control on the service.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

Availability

We aim to keep SpeedFast available and reliable, but the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranty of uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

Limitation of liability

SpeedFast is provided free of charge, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any decisions made, or costs incurred, based on a test result — for example, a service plan change or a dispute with your internet provider. If you need a certified or contractually binding measurement of your connection, consult your ISP directly.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use of SpeedFast after a change means you accept the updated terms.
